research overview

  • My research areas include twentieth and twenty-first century Peninsular (Spain) narrative, culture, and film. I have published monographs on the intersection among feminism, post-structuralism, and contemporary Peninsular narrative, on the crime fiction of Spanish writer Alicia Giménez Bartlett, and on ethics and alterity in contemporary Peninsular narrative. I have co-edited scholarly volumes on Spanish writer Esther Tusquets and on women's crime fiction in XXI Spain and Latin America. In addition, I have published more than twenty articles on Peninsular narrative, Peninsular film, and women's crime fiction.
