My research focuses on Arabic sociocultural linguistics, particularly examining how language choice relates to identity and ideology within pan-Arab public discourse. My work is interdisciplinary, intersecting linguistics, media studies, and historical frameworks, aiming to explore the social and ideological implications of language use in Arab societies. I am also interested in broader cultural dynamics, and how they influence linguistic practices across Arab societies.
