research overview

  • My current research project is a study of the representation of ghosts in Early Modern Spanish literature and theater. I examine a series of texts from the late 16th century through the mid-17th century to understand what the depiction of ghosts reveals about Early Modern Spanish society's ontological beliefs and historiographical practices.
