My research is on International human rights and includes a focus on the rights of indigenous peoples. Included in my research is examination of the application of international human rights norms to companies conducting activities, especially mining and and other large scale development activities, on or near indigenous territories. I also examine how international human rights law can be applied to guide responses environmental problems including climate change.
