Amanda Carrico is an Associate Professor of Environmental Studies. Her research and teaching falls at the intersection of the environmental and behavioral sciences. She uses mixed methods to examine behavioral responses to environmental stress, with special attention to how responses contribute to resilience and for whom. In a second line of work, she examines the social and psychological conditions that lead to the voluntary adoption of pro-environmental action.
