  • Dr. Sternovsky's professional interests include laboratory plasma physics and related experimental measurements, and developing instruments for space. He has been the instrument scientist on two sounding rocket campaigns, and several space missions, including the Lunar Dust EXperiment (LDEX) instrument launched onboard Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer (LADEE) spacecraft, the Surface Dust Analyzer (SUDA) onboard the Europa Clipper flagship mission, and the Interstellar Dust Experiment (IDEX) instrument onboard the Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP) mission.
