Dr. Sherwood's research is focused on the learning and control of motor skills. In particular he is interested in the factors that affect movement accuracy in rapid movements and how one coordinates the control of multiple limbs. A recent interest has been on the focus of attention and the resulting effect on neuromuscular control and movement consistency.
