"Wanderstrassen der Kultur": Die Aby Warburg-Fritz Saxl Korrespondenz 1920 bis 1929
Journal Article
Overview
abstract
The correspondence between Warburg and the main architect of the transformation of his private library (the Kulturwissenschaftliche Bibliothek Warburg, which later became the Warburg Institute) into a public institution is particularly important because, as the editor points out, the two discussed in letter form so many "programmatic and organizational themes, commented upon their respective research results and raised ideas for common work" (p. 10).
